To rid its balance sheet of a troubled asset, Regions Bank is selling the mortgage note to Nashville West shopping center, one of Music City’s most popular retail spots.
The bank has asked for offers starting at $70 million to buy the mortgage of the nine-acre, 362,000-square-foot shopping center off Charlotte Pike. The developers borrowed at least $90 million in funding for the center, the Nashville Business Journal previously reported.
