Relevant Experience
After a six year employment with the Trammell Crow Company specializing in investment sales of retail properties, Mr. McDonald joined two other Trammell Crow associates to form Baker Storey McDonald Properties, Inc. Baker Storey McDonald was formed to directly invest in and develop retail properties across the Mid-South. Mr. McDonald has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience.
During his time with Trammell Crow Company, Mr. McDonald sold 1,935,000 square feet of retail product representing $435 million in volume for both institutional and private clients.
He has extensive experience in the capital markets and is responsible for securing both debt and equity for current and future development projects. Since forming Baker Storey McDonald Properties, Inc., he has been instrumental in spearheading the development and acquisition of over $150 million in retail projects. Mr. McDonald has recently created a new capital markets group that will focus on the acquisition of distressed assets throughout the southeast.
