Josiah Glafenhein focuses on Retail Brokerage for Baker Storey McDonald Properties in the Knoxville division and has over four years of experience in the industry. His primary responsibilities include shopping center leasing, developer representation, and tenant representation throughout the East Tennessee Region.
Prior to joining Baker Storey McDonald Properties, Josiah worked for Sperry Van Ness / R. M. Moore, LLC in Knoxville, TN where he focused on commercial real estate brokerage, development, and consulting. He joined Sperry Van Ness / R. M. Moore, LLC in July of 2009 with a prior stint at Conversion Properties. Josiah graduated from the University of Tennessee’s MBA Program in December of 2007 with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance from East Tennessee State University (ETSU).
Josiah is a current member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and actively participates in the East Tennessee Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute (CCIM) chapter. Knoxville has always been home to Josiah and he enjoys the outdoors during his leisure time. He is a member and deacon at Redeemer Church of Knoxville.
